Teams calling - How to opt into a call queue
This article applies to CE Manuka staff who are a member of a Teams calling call queue. 1. Open Microsoft Teams 2. Click on the Teams tab 3. Select the team associated with the Call Queue 4. Click on the Calls tab 5. Slide to toggle next to your name to the on position. You are now opted into the queue. 6. You can also use this screen to see who else is available in the queue

Teams - How to forward ALL calls
This article contains instructions for forwarding all Teams calls. Note that this setting affects external calls to your Teams phone number, and internal Teams calls from other Teams users. To change your forwarding settings for external calls only, go here: Open the Teams app on your computer, Click the ellipsis icon (...) in the top right of the Teams window. Click Settings. In the Settings menu, click Calls. Turn the Forward all calls slider to on. Select Forward to a new number or contact. Enter your mobile number and press enter. Call forwarding is now enabled. To remove the call forward, turn the Forward all calls slider to off.

Teams Calling - How to make a phone call
Open the Teams app on your computer. Click the Calls tab. A dial pad will be displayed Either type a phone number or use the mouse to click the numbers on the dial pad, then click the Call button The call will now be made.

Teams Calling - Voicemail
A default Voicemail policy is applied to all CE Manuka Teams calling users. If a call is routed to your voicemail, the caller will hear a system generated message: "*Your name* is currently unavailable, please leave a message after the tone, when you have finished, please hang up or press the pound key for more options" You can access your voicemails though the Teams app by selecting the calls tab and selecting Voicemail. Select a voicemail, you can play the audio or read the transcript in the right-hand pane. You will also receive a copy of the audio and transcript by email. If you wish to change any voicemail settings, such as recording a customised greeting, Click in the ellipsis (...) icon and choose Settings. Select Calls then scroll down to Manage Voicemail. You can also manage your out of office voicemail from this section

Teams Calling - CEOM Reception Call Queue
The CE Manuka Reception phones are accessed via a Teams calling. Calls to reception can be answered by anyone in the Microsoft Team: CEOM_Reception_Phone. For access to this Team, contact the EAs to the Director or the ICT service desk. Opting in to receive calls If you are a member of this team, you can opt in to receive reception calls by following instructions linked here: Teams calling - How to opt into a call queue: CECG ICT Service Desk (freshservice.com) You can opt in or out at any time. Calls to reception will ring in the Teams app of all opted in members of CEOM_Reception_Phone. If you are opted in, reception calls will ring regardless of your Teams presence status (Away, Available etc). Placing outgoing calls from the reception number If you are a member of the team and would like to place a call from the reception number, follow the instructions linked here: Teams Calling - How to make a phone call | Knowledge Base | CECG ICT Service Desk (freshservice.com) If you are a permanent member of reception staff, all of your outgoing calls will show a caller ID of the reception number: 6234 5455. Teams Calling - How to Answer and Transfer Calls
When you receive a phone call via Teams calling, you will see this popup. Click the blue phone button to answer the call or red phone button icon to decline. Declined calls will be forward to your voicemail. To transfer a call, click the Transfer button from the dropdown, select either Transfer or Consult then transfer Transfer = Will send the call directly to the user, if they are busy or the call times out it will go to voicemail. Consult then Transfer = You will be connected to the user and can speak to them before transferring the call. The Transfer the call window will open Enter the name of the user you wish to transfer the call to or enter a phone number, then click the Transfer button.

Teams Calling - How to forward external calls
This article contains instructions for forwarding external calls to your Teams phone number. Open the Teams app on your computer. Click the ellipsis icon (...) in the top right of the Teams window. Click Settings. In the Settings menu, click Calls. Turn the Redirect extenal phone calls slider to on There are two redirection options: 1. Redirect to voicemail - this option will redirect all external calls directly to your Teams voicemail 2. Redirect as if call is unanswered - this setting will cause calls from external numbers to immediately follow the rule set in the field: When you can't answer a call. In the example below, all external calls to the users Teams Calling phone number would immediately be redirected to 0400 555 555

Teams Calling - Reception - Transfer calls to Accounts and Accounts Payable
This article contains instructions for transferring calls to the mobile phones of Accounts and Accounts Payable From the call window, click Transfer Enter either Accounts or Accounts Payable to search. The mobile numbers are listed as Accounts - Forward to Mobile and Accounts Payable - Forward to Mobile, you will notice they have a headset icon. Select the appropriate contact and then click the Transfer button. Tip: After the first time you transfer a call to each contact, you can find them again by searching for Forward

Class Teams - How to add students or other teaches to your class Team
To add a student or teacher to a Class Team Launch the Microsoft Teams app or go to https://teams.microsoft.com and sign in with your school account. From the left-hand sidebar, click on Teams. Find and click on the class Team you want to add the student to. In the left-hand section of the team page, click on the three dots (•••) next to the Team name. Select Add Member from the dropdown menu. In the pop-up window, start typing the student or teacher name or email address. Select the correct student or teacher from the list that appears. Select the member type from the dropdown list: For a student - select Member For another teacher - Select Owner Click the Add button - the student or teacher will now be added to the team. To see a list of current Team members and owners In the left hand section of the team page, click on the three dots (•••) next to the team name. Click Manage Team In the right-hand section of the page, click the Members tab.
