Teams Calling - How to forward external calls

This article contains instructions for forwarding external calls to your Teams phone number.

Open the Teams app on your computer.

Click the ellipsis icon (...) in the top right of the Teams window.

Click Settings.

In the Settings menu, click Calls.

Turn the Redirect extenal phone calls slider to on

There are two redirection options:

1. Redirect to voicemail - this option will redirect all external calls directly to your Teams voicemail

2. Redirect as if call is unanswered - this setting will cause calls from external numbers to immediately follow the rule set in the field: When you can't answer a call.

In the example below, all external calls to the users Teams Calling phone number would immediately be redirected to 0400 555 555
