Email - How to log into Webmail

Purpose:

The purpose of this article is to guide staff through access their corporate e-mail account via Outlook web mail. 


What you need:

  • A valid Catholic Education username, e-mail address and password.
  • Access to multifactor authentication application or tool. Okta Verify, Microsoft Authenticator, Biometric authenticator or SMS.
  • Have access to the internet will an up-to-date web browser. Microsoft Edge is recommended.


Other Requirements:

  • Nil


Instructions:

1. Open a web browser such as Microsoft Edge.

2. In the address bar, enter outlook.office.com


3. Enter your full Catholic Education e-mail and select Next.

4. Enter your username and password and select Sign in. Note: You do not need to enter your full e-mail address.


5. If prompted, Select the authenticator option you want to use.

6. Authorise the login by confirming on the device or entering the 6 digit code.

7. Select an appropriate option if to stay signed in. If you share this computer or mobile device you should select No on this option.


8. Your mailbox will now appear. You have successfully logged into your Catholic Education E-mail via the web mail client.
