MyAccount - Set initial password or reset a forgotten password
Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to guide staff through setting an initial password or resetting a forgotten password.
What you need:
- Have access to a device with an internet connection.
- Your Catholic Education username.
- Ability to receive an SMS to the phone number registered with payroll.
Password Requirements:
Your new password must be at least 10 characters which contain at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one numeric digit, and one special character. You are also not able to use any of your last 5 Passwords.
Instructions:
1. Browse to https://myaccount.cg.catholic.edu.au.
2. Select Reset Password in the top left of the screen.
3. Enter in your Username (firstname.lastname) and enter the Security Code as requested then select Send Request.
4. Check for an SMS on your mobile. You will receive a 6-digit code.
5. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile into the Token field then select Verify.
6. Enter a new password complying with the password policy outlined above. Re-enter the password then select Save.
7. Your password has now been changed.
