Email - How to log into Microsoft Outlook Desktop Application
The purpose of this article is to guide staff through the login steps for accessing Outlook Office Emails.
Microsoft Outlook is an application used to send and receive Emails, access your Calendar and store your Email contact list.
This instruction will walk you through the process of configuring your Outlook account via the Application.
What you need:
- Have access to a device with an internet connection.
- Your Catholic Education username.

Your Catholic Education password.
- Ability to receive an SMS to the phone number registered with payroll.
Instructions:
The following steps will assist you to sign into Outlook.
1.Open the start menu in the bottom left-hand corner, Outlook will be in the selection of apps in right hand side of the menu. Select the Outlook icon.
2. On your domain managed device, it will automatically fill in your email address select “Connect”
3. Outlook will then start setting Up your account
4. You will be prompted to enter your domain credentials, username and password and select sign in
5. Select ok
6. Select Done
7. The process is now complete. Untick the box for “set up Outlook Mobile on my phone too” and click OK.
8. Outlook will now open and download your emails.
9. At this point you may be prompted to sign in to set up office. Select “Sign In”
10. Type in your full school email firstname.lastname@cg.catholic.edu.au then select Next
11. You will then be prompted to log in again, Enter your username and password
12. Select OK
